About Us

Toolstream is building the future of the autonomous workplace. We create intelligent, agentic systems that seamlessly integrate with everyday enterprise tools (like GitHub, Notion, O365, and more) to streamline and automate complex workflows. From autonomous inbox guidance to context-aware memory workers, our platform empowers teams to eliminate repetitive tasks and focus on high-impact work.

The Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Full Stack Engineer to join our core team and help build the engine that drives Toolstream. In this role, you will work across the entire stack—shaping both the premium frontend user experience and the robust, scalable backend services that power our autonomous workers.

If you love crafting elegant user interfaces, architecting performant APIs, and tackling complex workflow challenges, we want you on our team.

What You'll Do

  • Build Core Features: Design, develop, and deploy end-to-end capabilities using our modern stack: React + TypeScript (Vite, TanStack Router, Tailwind CSS) on the frontend, and Python (FastAPI) on the backend.
  • Develop Agentic Systems: Engineer and refine the backend infrastructure for our autonomous capabilities—such as the Toolstream Memory Worker, intelligent routing, and agentic inbox scoring.
  • Expand Integrations: Build and scale plugin integrations with enterprise platforms (O365, GitHub, Notion, Stripe, QuickBooks, etc.) to expand the Toolstream ecosystem.
  • Optimize Data & Architecture: Work with PostgreSQL and vector databases (ChromaDB) in a Dockerized environment to ensure our data architecture is highly responsive, scalable, and secure.
  • Drive Premium User Experiences: Collaborate closely with design to ensure the platform doesn't just work well, but feels responsive, fast, and visually exceptional.

What We're Looking For

  • Deep Full Stack Expertise: A proven track record of shipping complex, high-performance web applications from end to end.
  • Backend Mastery: Strong proficiency in Python 3.12+, with deep experience building APIs (FastAPI preferred) and managing relational databases using ORMs/migrations (Alembic/SQLAlchemy).
  • Frontend Excellence: Advanced knowledge of React and TypeScript. You understand how to build complex state-driven applications and have an eye for rich, modern design aesthetics.
  • System Architecture: Familiarity with Docker, vector databases, API authentication flows (Cognito/OAuth), and building modular/plugin-based architectures.
  • Problem Solver: A self-starter with a knack for tackling ambiguous challenges, especially within workflow automation and data processing.
  • Bonus Points: Experience building developer productivity tools, working with advanced data pipelines, or developing context-aware autonomous systems.

Why Toolstream?

  • High Impact: You will be joining early and will have a significant, direct impact on our core architecture and product roadmap.
  • Modern Stack: Work with a cutting-edge, high-performance tech stack built for modern capabilities.
  • Ambitious Mission: Help define the next generation of how teams interact with their software and manage their daily workflows.

Junior Software Engineer – Toolstream

About Us

Toolstream is building the future of the autonomous workplace. We create intelligent, agentic systems that seamlessly integrate with everyday enterprise tools (like GitHub, Notion, O365, and more) to streamline and automate complex workflows. From autonomous inbox guidance to context-aware memory workers, our platform empowers teams to eliminate repetitive, manual tasks so they can focus on high-impact work.

The Role

We are looking for a highly motivated, early-career Junior Software Engineer to join our engineering team. At Toolstream, you won’t just be fixing minor bugs in the background—you will be an integral part of building the engine that drives our autonomous workers.

Under the mentorship of our senior engineers, you will get hands-on experience across our modern tech stack, contributing to both our premium React frontend and our robust Python/FastAPI backend. If you are eager to learn how to build scalable, intelligent systems and want to accelerate your career in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you.

What You'll Do

  • Ship Real Code: Write clean, testable, and maintainable code for core product features, working across React/TypeScript on the frontend and Python/FastAPI on the backend.
  • Build Integrations: Help expand the Toolstream ecosystem by building, testing, and maintaining plugin integrations with enterprise platforms like O365, GitHub, and Notion.
  • Learn and Grow: Participate actively in code reviews, technical architecture discussions, and pair programming sessions. You’ll learn best practices for Docker, relational databases (PostgreSQL), and vector databases (ChromaDB).
  • Enhance the Platform: Assist in debugging, optimizing performance, and refining user interfaces to ensure our agentic workflows run smoothly and feel incredibly responsive.
  • Collaborate: Work closely with product, design, and senior engineering team members to understand user requirements and translate them into functional code.

What We're Looking For

  • Solid Foundations: A strong grasp of computer science fundamentals, either through a recent CS degree, a coding bootcamp, or demonstrable self-taught experience.
  • Relevant Experience: Experience building web applications (through personal projects, internships, or coursework) using Python or JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Eagerness to Learn: You have a growth mindset. You are excited to dive into new technologies—like vector databases and agentic workflow architecture—and aren't afraid to ask questions.
  • Problem Solver: A natural curiosity for how things work under the hood and a persistence in debugging complex issues.
  • Strong Communicator: Ability to explain technical trade-offs clearly, accept constructive feedback gracefully, and work collaboratively in a team environment.

Why Toolstream?

  • Accelerated Growth: You will learn faster here than at a massive corporation. You’ll receive direct mentorship from senior engineers who are building next-generation workflow automation.
  • Modern Stack: Start your career building with a state-of-the-art tech stack instead of maintaining legacy systems.
  • Meaningful Impact: Even as a junior engineer, the code you write will directly impact how our users automate their daily work.

Consultative Account Executive – Toolstream

Remote (US)

About Us

Toolstream is building the future of the autonomous workplace. We create intelligent, agentic systems that seamlessly integrate with everyday enterprise tools (like GitHub, Notion, O365, and more) to streamline and automate complex workflows. From autonomous inbox guidance to context-aware memory workers, our platform empowers teams to eliminate repetitive, manual tasks so they can focus on high-impact strategic work.

The Role

We are looking for a Consultative Account Executive who thrives on solving complex business problems. You won't just be selling software; you will be acting as a strategic advisor to our prospective clients. Your goal is to deeply understand the unique operational bottlenecks and workflow inefficiencies within a prospect's organization, and demonstrate exactly how Toolstream's autonomous agents can be deployed to drive massive efficiency and ROI.

If you are a curious, analytical sales professional who loves diving deep into technical workflows and tailoring solutions that transform how companies operate, this is the role for you.

What You'll Do

  • Strategic Discovery: Lead deep-dive discovery sessions with technical and business stakeholders (Directors of Ops, VPs of Engineering, CTOs, COOs) to uncover inefficiencies in their current tooling and processes.
  • Consultative Selling: Map out how Toolstream's specific agentic capabilities (e.g., memory workers, intelligent routing, inbox scoring) map directly to the prospect's pain points.
  • Solution Design: Partner with our sales engineering and product teams to design and present tailored, high-impact workflow solutions that prove concrete business value.
  • Manage the Full Cycle: Own the end-to-end sales cycle, from pipeline generation and qualification to complex negotiations and closing enterprise deals.
  • Market Feedback: Serve as the voice of the market, feeding critical insights back to our product and engineering teams to help shape the Toolstream roadmap.

What We're Looking For

  • Consultative Sales Experience: 3+ years of B2B SaaS closing experience, ideally selling complex, technical, or highly customizable workflow/automation products.
  • Deep Curiosity: A natural ability to ask incisive questions and quickly understand the nuances of how different organizations operate across platforms like O365, GitHub, and internal systems.
  • Technical Aptitude: You don't need to write code, but you must be comfortable discussing APIs, secure data pipelines, and technical integrations with engineering leaders.
  • Value-Driven Approach: A proven track record of selling on business value and ROI, rather than merely pitching a list of features.
  • Strategic Communicator: Exceptional ability to synthesize complex technical concepts into clear, compelling narratives for executive buyers.

Why Toolstream?

  • Pioneer a New Category: You will be on the front lines, defining the narrative around the transition from static software to autonomous, agentic enterprise systems.
  • Uncapped Potential: Engage in un-capped, high-reward enterprise sales with a product that delivers immediate, measurable impact.
  • Collaborative Culture: Work directly with a highly technical, fast-moving founding team that values your market insights as much as your closed-won deals.

How this differs from a standard AE:

  • A standard AE often focuses heavily on feature-level demonstrations and volume.
  • A Consultative AE focuses heavily on the discovery phase—they act almost like a business consultant or solutions architect early in the process. For a product like Toolstream (which plugs into many different tools to create custom "agentic" workflows), the buyer needs someone to help them envision how their specific messy processes can be cleaned up, not just a tour of the UI.
